How To Take Screenshot On Samsung Galaxy S3

In the past it took a root access jut to take a screenshot on Android device, but now root access is no longer needed. Big manufacturers like Samsung and the kind have armed their products with ability to take a screenshot by default, so there is no need to firstly root our device or using root application.

In Samsung Galaxy flagship like Galaxy S3 and above usually we are provided with two methods to capture screen, first method using keys combination and the second method using a feature called Palm motion / swipe. And in this post you will be guided to use all of the methods.

First method using keys / buttons combination.

  1. Now find a screen you wish to capture.
  2. Once you found it, then press and hold these buttons together; Home + Power.

  3. Keep pressing it till you see you a flash or camera sound referring that the screen is captured.
Second method use Palm Swipe to capture screens.

This feature usually disabled by default, thus you need to firstly enable it.

  1. So go to Menu, select Settings.
  2. Now tap on Hand motion.
  3. Now tap on box beside Palm swipe to Capture to check the feature or enable it.

Since you have Palm swipe enable now you can simply swipe from left to right to screen capturing on your Samsung Galaxy S3.
